There are different forms of traction provided at our facility.
Mechanical for the Neck (cervical spine) and Lower back (lumbar spine). Special medical equipment is utilized to provide this procedure, to determine the amount of traction force and duration required to relieve your conition.
Special Note:Flexion-Distraction / Decompression of the Lower Back. This procedure is provided specifically by the Doctor, utilizing a table for this purpose. This form of decompression for the lower back is the oldest technique, validated safe, effective and it is insurance approved.
Special Note: There are are other types of decompression devices available in the health care community, many of which are not covered by insurance benefits, vastly more expensive (out of pocket) and claims of therapeutic benefit are not based on any scientific peer reviewed clinical studies.
